REF: Signature Hardware Vanity Reviews: A Complete Examination
Sorry… but to call this article a “review” (let alone complete) )is an over statement. In truth it is not a review but rather reads like a paid advertisement. Peppered with buzz words like, ensuring longevity and sturdiness, premium, luxurious feel, durable, solid, timeless, superior craftsmanship blah… blah… blah… says nothing about its actual construction. Are the furniture joints mortise and tenon, butt, dovetail, butt, tongue and groove? Saying they are solid wood means little because solid wood comes in different grades and types including engineered woods like plywood and MDF. Just saying solid wood means nothing. For example; if its laminated plywood you should say so. How about what types of finish they apply? Lacquer, polyurethane, clear acrylic, shellac , if paint is it oil based or acrylic ? The door and drawer hardware? Is it stainless steel, does it rust, are the drawer glides nylon or ball bearing etc.. You also say nothing about their warranty. When a product is as superior as you make it sound they typically offer a longer warranty than one year. It makes you wonder. Listing delivery issues, shipping damage complaints and poor customer service are indeed negatives but actually have nothing to do with the actual vanity as a piece of furniture. How about the complaints on chipped and/ or peeling paint, cracked seams, misaligned doors or drawers. This was a fluff article and nothing more. If this wasn’t a promotional article for Signature and you truly intend to try and make a living writing reviews… you really need to actually list concrete positive and negatives. NOTE: I took the time to read several other articles you posted and they all have the same feel, same middle of the road, the same blase wording… never telling the consumer to avoid a product at all costs. Fluff articles are a dime a dozen. You might want to check out “Project Farm” on Youtube for some ideas on how to provide a fair and balanced review. NET: You need to list the Good “with” the Bad… the naked truth!
